Just an FYI for anybody thats interested. They are overstocked so hence the low price. I just bought mine. Shipping was $39 to VA. I'll post pictures when I get it.

beautiful design...but is it just me or do you think this wing would look so much better if it didn't hang so far of the back of the car? Its looks like it should mount 5" further up

Then just get it painted My Friend. It will be stronger and lighter then fiberglass and not many fiberglass wings or body parts look very good with out paint. In a year or so if it does get outdated You still have lighter stronger pieces then poly or fiberglass.

Are you towing a trailer from your wing??? Why does strength matter?
Also, I bet you 100 bucks that wing is not solid carbon fiber but has a fiberglass core with just a CF skin.
Plus the weight savings from a fiberglass to a carbon fiber wing would be very neglible. It would be better not to eat a hamburger before you jump in the car.
People will buy anything for the hype.

The CF wing I am putting on My car is 1/4 the weight of the fiberglass one I am taking off. It still is a good deal if it is a total CF or just CF wrapped. You can paint it and it still is cheaper then any other I have seen. Now the fit and finish are another thing altogether. I was not saying the wing needs to made from CF just that the hoods and other CF parts are here to stay because of their strength and weight.

But why the need for a "strong" hood and wing. Do you have people sitting on your hood all the time? If you get in a accident, the hood is going to break if it was a CF or fiberglass. Not gonna make a difference.
1/4 of the weight difference? I highly doubt it unless your wing is the size of a parkbench. A hood has way more surface area than a wing is and the FD aluminum hood is only a few pounds heavier than a carbon fiber one.
I just find buying CF hoods and wings worthless except for the "bling" factor. Also on the FD, the venting helps a ton.

I'm feeling you dude, I love the wing.
But consider the new silver carbon fibre that VIS is making. It will match your car better. There is no MS design yet, but hold out. All these cars with different color hoods, wings and skirts look like they are a work in progress pieced together from various junkyards.
C'mon, this is a supercar, not a Celica.
But, again, the MS design is the best for this car yet, I think.

I never said I didn't like it, I just stated its only good for looks. I bought it b/c I was sponsored and the CF hood was the same price as the fiberglass. If I had to pay for it, I would of for sure got the fiberglass. It was a show car, so I could of given a rats-*** about the weight. But it was still a light-*** car anyways. Right before it got stolen, it weighed in at 2100 pound with full interior.

Quality of wing
The wing is a perfect fitment, those pictures were at our facility, you can see exactly how it mounts, yes it weighs way less than most fiberglass versions, and yes it has fiberglass, but just enough to reinforce the fibreglass, the same way cwest hoods have fibreglass underneath , same as all your japanese brand having partial fiberglass under CF, otherwise it would be see thru up against a light, with just CF and resin only.
It is designed to mount the way shown in the pic you can see where it stops exactly at the end of the taillights.
You are welcome to bring down a fiberglass one and compare weight, also CF is ALWAYS a better composite than fiberglass.
For anyone who doubts the quality I would like to see what you are basing your judgement off of. I would love to see a better quality wet carbon wing in CF by any american or japanese MFG, but I doubt you can find one.
