Turn OFF sticky/fixed header

How do I turn OFF the sticky/fixed forum header?

I don't like it and it doesn't help me. Takes up too much vertical space, which on today's bullshirt 4:3 "HD" monitors is more valuable than ever.

I don't see a setting in the Options.

Thank you.

Bottom too.

Jumping Jebus Chriminy! There's a fixed bottom bar too!

Are all UI designers now completely stupid?

On the bottom left of any page is a drop down menu that says: Classic Next Gen- Infinite scroll. Set it to Classic Next Gen.

I've always had it set to Classic Next Gen and it has the sticky bars.

OMG, thank you, I can't stand the sticky bars... they just showed up one day and I thought it was a permanent UX change.

Okay WTF. I had in on CNG and I had the bars. I switch to Infinite Scroll and then switch it back and the forum is normal again.

Okay, I dunno, but it works now, so that's cool.
