AZ Threads & posting question

I entered a "For Sale" thread on my 81 Mazda. The thread posted okay then closed a few days later. Why? I attempted to open it and post some pictures through photobucket (as recommended on "How to use the board"). Will this be reviewed before it shows? Can my thread be re-opened? Do I have to post a bunch of stuff to qualify for the 5 post rule so my thread will not be closed?

Greetings,

I just checked and your thread is still posted and open. You haven't gotten the legitimate amount of posts to officially post in the classified section.

I suppose you got lucky and a nice moderator went ahead and moved the thread to classifieds in the belief that you would go ahead and get your required 5 posts in the next day or so. Take a moment and post in some of the other threads and get to know your fellow users. Thanks.

AZ Threads & posting question

Thank you for your prompt reply. This morning I tried to open the thread..apparently it worked. I will now try to post a few more times so that I become 'official'. I have trouble because the program tells me that I do not have enough posts to post. I will keep trying. I have been viewing this website since April of this year, but this was my first attempt at using it. I am hoping to understand enough, through reading the instructions and user questions/answers section, to post pictures to my ad. I attempted to do so this morning, but I'm pretty sure it didn't work. If it didn't, I will try again.
Thanks again.

Threads & posting question, couple of add'l questions

My thread in classifieds is open, there is an icon of an envelope with arrow indicating 1 post. I believe that is the one I attempted to add with pictures/corrections. Will the post show up sometime or, if I understand you correctly, it will not show up because I don't have 5 posts yet. Thanks, Jaye

AZ Threads & posting question

I took your advice to "get to know my fellow members" and attempted to post to a thread. I looked up an answer to their question in my Mazda books, but when I attempted to post the program told me I didn't have enough posts to post. Geezo, this is frustrating.

I tried again to correct my original ad and post pics through a "post" but it was still not successful. The price of the car should have been $4000 and the pictures are in photobucket

I don't know if this works! As you can tell, I'm not well versed in the techno stuff with computers. I'm not a hacker, spammer, bomber, pooper, or any other name that is out there for mean spirited people who post junk. I'm just an ordinary person who has a beautiful car I need to sell, and I would prefer to sell it to someone who will take as good of care of it as I have. I came to RX7 Club because it is a place where people are looking for RX7s that are collectible. Opps, am I venting? Sorry. I left my email on my ad and I will send lots of pics to anyone interested. Thanks! Jaye

I edited the price for you. You can only edit your thread up to 30 minutes after it has been posted. After that if you wish to lower the price or ad information all you do is post a reply to your own thread with the new info.

RX Doctor,
Thank you for your help. Many years ago I searched out a person called "Rotary Doctor" and another person who was an officer of the RX7 Club known as "RX Doctor" through a Road and Track Magazine article. Both were in California at the time; one in Pomona, Ca. on State St., and one in Beverly Hills, Ca. I don't want to put the names of those people here on a public forum, but I was curious if you might be one-in-the-same RX7 Doctor. I still have the article. It was written by Peter Bohr in the late 1980s. Jaye
