Quick Explanation
Im not sure if this is the correct area to post this but i was wondering if someone can explain the meaning of trolling?
I always figured its like spamming, is that right?

Spamming is blowing a copy n' paste of some message you want to get out across more than 5 different boards within a set amount of time. Trolling means you don't have any purpose, you're just posting in threads just to post or to flame someone. Worst kind of trolling is when you're following someone you don't like or don't like their opinion, so you find every thread they've posted in and you post there just to irritate or flame that person.
That's the third quickest way to get booted off this website permanently.
