Do you have a Question about how to use the fourm, because if not this isnt the section for this type of post.

KS

Please excuse , I'm trying to follow the RULES of the board, make 1 post each in the following sections...ok , 1st post was added, second post was moved , and the 3rd was in the incorrect section as well. I'm trying not to be a dick, but just following YOUR rules of the board . All this just to be able to connect with other mazda people, here in the midwest . I'm wondering if it has to do with the pistons rings instead of apex seals...My profile does mention the idea of having far to many rotors sitting around...My son hasn't seen the light yet, so until then , I will have to use the metric tools on these other 3 rx7 , instead of the american tools. Again, I'm not here to be a dick, just be able to follow your rules, and post . thanks Bob

Where do the rules say you need to make 1 post in each section? I never had to do that. You just have to have, I think, 10 post to send others a private msg.
Nobody is being mean to you because you have a piston engine in you RX7. If you post in the wrong section, mods will move it.
If this thread was meant to be a test, you should of posted it here, https://www.rx7club.com/test-area-51-49/.
Sorry that you feel like you are being mistreated, but you should know that a lot of the guys on this forum feel that the rotory engine is what makes the 7 special. So you can imagine how seeing a huge blower sticking out of the hood of one makes them cringe.

Good luck and welcome to the forum,
Jeff

OK, I'll bite. Which thread or area did you read that said that you need to post in each of the areas? Perhaps you got confused in the "Rules of the new member section read this first before posting" thread where it explains the use of the 3 new member section subforums. If this was the case please let us know so that the wording can be changed to be more specific so that other members dont get confused.

I dont think anyone is bashing on you because you have a piston engine in your car. In fact, I plan on making it to the next KS meet and if you are there I would like a ride in your car.

As per the rules here: https://www.rx7club.com/announcement.php?a=185
Why Was My Post Not Approved?

There are a few reasons why your post was not approved. The most common are as follows:

* You posted a "Want to buy" or a "For Sale" thread. These are not allowed in the New Member Section. Please post these in the suitable Classified section. You may need to accumulate a higher post count before you are allowed to post in those areas.
* You post did not appear well thought out or was vague. Show us that you care enough to spend the time to put together a new thread. If you simply put "Hi my name is Bloggins and I like Rx-7s" we will not approve it. As a general rule, try for at least three well constructed sentences.
* Try to use proper english. This isn't your high school yearbook, or public restroom. Stuff like "n e 1 gots sum lambo dors b cuz dat iz balla" won't fly here. If I personally see it I will delete it, or if I'm in a good mood, I may attempt to translate. I'll probably use big hot pink text though, so watch out.
* You posted a message solely to increase your post count. Posts like "I'm just increasing my post count" or "Post 3 for me" will be deleted.
* Threads devoted to other competing forums (as described above) are also prohibited and can be deleted without any notice. Direct links or referencing to other competing forums are also prohibited and may be removed at any time.
* Spam, advertisement, vulgar or offensive posts will not be approved. Depending on the nature of the post you may also be banned.

These rules do not just apply to new threads. Replys to existing threads consisting of a simple "Hello" or "Welcome" will usually be deleted.
This wasn't because you have a piston engine car, its because you posted a useless post that was not relevant to the section. I don't know why it was even approved in the first place.

I think you may have mis-understood the rules there Bob.

There is nothing requiring a single post in each section. However depending on the section, multiple posts in other sections may be required before your entry into a particular section.

This is to prevent post ****** and people that didn't search for the common information first as well as to limit Spammers and Trolls.

And most people don't look at profiles, so your rude comments about the car discussed on this board do not help your position of not being a Troll.

And as a hint, most manufactures, both foreign and Domestic (including the Big 4) are using the universally accepted Metric bolts and fasteners in their modern vehicles. Of course, you might not know that a 9/16ths wrench pretty much fits a 14mm nut, or that a 13mm headed bolt is just about the same size as a 1/2 " headed bolt. Or that a 2 1/8th inch wrench fits just fine on the Metric E-shaft nut of a Rotary Engine.

Some people don't understand, and some don't want to understand. The rules have been spelled out in crayon so to speak. He sounds like he is trying to be his own Martyr. For what cause, I don't know.

Post whoring should be banned....
My 0.02c. If you have something to say worth contributing, then
by all means post. If not, sit in the corner and be patient until u
have something worth saying. I've been a member and a lurker
since god knows when (on second account even) and my post
count is low, which is fine. It's not like you win a medal, or gather
props from opening your mouth at any opportunity.

Is this a sign that someone failed to read all the new member info? No tests, just failure for
noncompliance. I guess it works.

Alright, enough comments from the peanut gallery. Things have been answered. If you have a question about a rule, post it up, or send me a PM. Thread closed up.

Thanks.
