Wide Band Senors and Haltechs

I've seen alot of problems with loging o2's (been browsing this section for awhile)

I know wide bands require being heated (controlled) and each sensor is different (curves) but is there software program for a haltech for certain wb or selectable wb?

This would just make sense to me as the two go hand in hand and the haltech could easily control a wb.

So can haltech effectivel control/monitor wb sensors?

Doesn't the haltech come with a stock narrow band?

*preparing for the leap*

You use the simulated wideband output from the wideband controller unit (this is REQUIRED) to input wideband (typically 0-5V signal) to the haltech. I was not able to get the DOS software to work with this but the win software does just fine. You just tell the haltech to expect a 0-5V Bosch (or NTK) UEGO sensor and it will read the voltage off it just fine. AFR interpretation is a bit skewed but I haven't played with it much yet so I can't say it doesn't work. I just don't really care. Target O2 voltage is all I care about for closed loop and logging. And it does beautifully at that.

I'm using a TechEdge wb02 unit with my E6X under windows software on Win2000. Seems to be a solid combo. But then I haven't tried really running closed loop yet. Waiting for the engine to get broken in first.

I've used a PLX with an E6X running DOS and it's worked beautifully. Connect the 0-5V out of the PLX to the Haltech o2 in and select the proper sensor. Requires interpretation of the voltage to an AFR (voltage x 2 + 10 = AFR). Those values have been spot on with the wideband at my local dyno.
