where in the haltech software can make the idle more rich?
my car sometimes idle too low and i just want to make it more rich to idle a little higher. where in the haltech software can i go to do this?

Wire up the BAC and use it. Will connect to one of the PWM outputs. That will help a lot if it's properly configured.
Fuel needs to be right. Fuel map 1 is what you'll need to concentrate on, unless you're using the zero throttle map.
Can also add timing at lower RPM to help the engine speed up when the revs try to drop.

yes! thats whats happening. when the car is warm and the idle drops from a high rpm (not that high but from 3k or so), it dips too low and the car dies. where can i go to adjust this?

Timing map 1. Let's say the engine idles at 10* BTDC at 1000 rpm. Make the 500 range something like 14*. When the engine passes below 1000 rpm, the timing ramps up, which naturally causes the engine speed to increase.
Also, get the BAC wired up and working. This will go a long way toward solving your issue.
