Where to buy Hall Effect Trigger Wheel?

Is there a shop that sells the crank angle trigger wheel for the EK6 or do most that go with the Haltech crank angle sensor just make their own wheel with the "rare earth metals"? From all the sources I've heard, they are all "custom" but some shop must sell them, right?

if you could find one of the "shops" who have made this part they might be willing to make you another one. otherwise make a simple drawing and stop by some local machine shops and see what they will charge you. this is not a difficult part to make if you have the proper tooling and machinery. why not make everything easier and use the OEM crank angle sensor, either the FD or FC unit will work fine.

The reason I believe is because the stock sensor is a sine wave, while the hall effect is a square wave. The square wave is a much mor accurate reference. (could be wrong, but I don't think so Carl

Actually, with a magnetic pickup, a reluctor adapter converts the sine wave into a square waveform. Its essentiall the same as with the Hall pickup, the difference being that the circuitry to produce the square waveform is built into the Hall effect device.
