Question What's the "O2 Sensor" value on engine data page mean?

I've found a new quirk in my E6K installation that I think may be related to my constant "miss" at idle, and inconsistent rpm readings. I added the "O2 Sensor" value to my engine data page and saw that it reads +100, but it will intermittently drop to about +92.

First of all, what is "O2 Sensor"?

Second, does the reading indicate a problem?

O2 sensor is a sensor located in the exhaust stream and gives a reading of the amount of oxygen in the exhaust. If you don't know what it does don't mess with it.

I hope the previous post was some kind of bad joke...

I believe the "O2 sensor" value is the millivolt output of the O2 sensor. The 4 wire O2 sensor has an output of ~600mV at 14.7:1 (stoich). I don't know about other O2 sensors.

Is the rough running all the time, or just after two minutes when it goes into closed loop operation?

If you are having problems in closed loop only, then you may need to adjust the
1. "O2 sensor threshold voltage" (the O2 sensor voltage the Haltech will try to maintain, or about 600mV w/ 4 wire sensor),
2. "O2 sensor threshold at idle" (typically a richer idle is necessary for smooth running),
3. "O2 sensor type" (just choose the sensor type closest to what you have)

I'm going to ignore that first reply.

I have closed loop disabled right now while I'm tuning. I don't think the problem is really related to my oxygen sensor. I was hoping this pointed to some kind of voltage or ground problem that would fix my rough running. The idea was that maybe whatever this voltage was being read from isn't hooked up to anything, so it should have a constant reading right? But it doesn't.

Thanks
