Question What did you guys do with the extra wires?

The Haltech wire loom has a lot of wires, some of which are not used on the RX-7. What did you guys do with the extra wires?

I'd hate to cut them off, but I guess I'm not going to be using it on anything but a rotary engine.

It depends. If you might use them later, I would just coil them up and stuff them somewhere - make sure you protect the bare ends. If you're not going to use it other than your car, I just cut the wires down to about a foot and tape them off. I like to keep a "working" length "just in case"...

Yeah, I'm planning to cut them down but keep enough to work with in case I need to splice them back in. I'll store the extra length of wire in the garage. Its still kinda wierd to take a pair of cutters and go hacking all those wires off. That think cost me over a thousand bucks.

Thanks for the input.
