tps and omp interference

hey i just started selling haltechs and i am instaling my first one on my 88 t2
i am mounting the tps but the omp lever hits the tps befor WOT.
i have done some grinding on the lever and am thinking about shaving the tps but i will need to remove a fair amount of material.
what have some of you guys done?
i could go pre mix but i would rather not
i have thought about relocating the lever but that would be a pain
thanks
