Timing questions on 3rdgen
Ok perhaps I'm making this out to be harder then it really is.
Here is what I was told to do.
set timing lock to on and enter in 0 in the lock degrees field.
change my trailing split to 20 degrees.
use trailing #1 for my timing light signal.
start car use timing light.
That said I think I have figured this out but want a verification.
If the timing mark is at 20 degrees atdc and I am using the trailing 1 plug for my timing light then theoretically It should line up provided my trigger degrees field is correct. If not I know it is a case of adding or subtracting the degrees and I should make it to 0 for the base timing.
having both the timing mark and the pin on the case cover lining up.
Does that sound correct??
If not any help would be appreciated.
