Throttle Pump Related>>Help me fix this tuning Issue

Haltech E8 1.89

Hi all. I have successfully self-tuned my 500+ rwhp FD over the past 8 years(I know that is a long time) It was an awesome (painful and expensive) experience.
Here's my prob. If instantly floor the throttle when my T/position is already at about 40% and the rpms are about 4000, I get a rich sputter for about a second. At this point my wideband would read as low as 9afr. This usually happens in first gear. I have never really spent any time trying to fix it, and would like to do so now. Otherwise my map is near perfect.

I thought I would ask you guys on the board what you think before I start adjusting.

I suspect this would be related to the Enrichment Sensitivity Map.

Here are the current settings:
T/Position %
00 10 25 50
RPM
1000 2.8 3.1 3.1 2.0
2000 3.4 3.5 3.4 2.0
3000 2.0 2.0 1.5 0.5
4000 2.0. 2.0 1.5 1.0

I'll guess my settings for 4000 rpm @ 50% throttle needs to be lowered significantly.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

Sound like you're on the right track. Lower it and see what happens. Throttle pump adjustment is largely iterative anyway. Make a change and see what happens, go from there.
