Stock FC tach with sprint RE?

What do I have to do to make my stock FC tach work being hooked up to my sprint RE? I set the out put to 5v and the tach reads 500 rpm higher then it actually is. Is 5v right?

You have time to post two new threads but not enough time to search? It's been covered several times. 12v pull up. 50% duty.

Ok so it's 12v with 50% duty but it's still like 500rpm to high. What next?

I don't blame him. Someone openly expresses they don't want to put forth the effort to search, and essentially belittles Chris' time. Have fun searching

Yes I don't feel like searching threw all these posts hopeing that someone has a problem close enough to mine! I would much rather just put a post up about my exact issue and hopefully have it worked out with a few quick straight to the point answers! Anywho I got it figured out on my own.
