i see no reason you couldn't get a car smog legal in CA with the haltech, actually one of our crew chiefs works for the BAR, and they will even put your car in the evap room...
hey guy need help im lost here im trying to wire in my ecu this what happen i remove the N370 with the harness not thinking i need to still have it still in the car.what i need help in is my fly lead has a map wire do i still need to have this wire in.i was thinking the it came with a vac port all i need was to install a hose to it help.

Guess what?! you CANT use a Sprint 500 on a rotary, its meant for pistons. The Sprint RE is meant for rotaries, do you have an RE and just got confused or did you actually get a 500?

Well all hope is not lost, the units are identical physically, connector and harness are the same, all he would need to do is return it in its original packaging if its still in new uninstalled condition to get it exchanged for an RE. If he already installed the Wiring harness, then he should just return the ECU in its original box in brand new looking condition with its bubble paper still around it, so as to not incur the wrath of the tuner gods.

Totally depends on your needs. The Sprint 100 would slot in between the two and is usually the better choice for a 2-rotor street application. Give me a call if you'd like and we can talk through your needs. 502-515-7482
