Sprint re to Elite for my NA?

Looking at possibly upgrading my Sprint re to an Elite ecu in my 79 rx7 because of the better fuel map resolution and LTFT feature in the NSP software. Just wondering if it's worth it for an NA build? The engine is an S5 turbo block with S5 NA rotors, mild streetport, EFI Hardware tapered ITB, 1050cc injectors (primaries only), FFE trigger wheel, and will upgrade my FC coils to AEM smart coils. I was leaning toward an Elite 550, or should I go 750 or 1500? Has anyone upgrade from a Sprint re to an Elite, was it worth it?

“Worth it” is subjective. If your combination works well and makes good power, there’s not much point in switching. If you’re having specific problems, the newer ECU may help. Specifically, the injector staging on the Elite is far easier to get right. The closed loop O2 works better. Long term fuel trim is nice. But, if you have a good running engine now, all of that should be a moot point.

As mentioned - if it's meeting your goals and drives well it's a well made piece of equipment and doesn't warrant replacement to me. However, if your goals are changing and you need to re-interface/update things then you may find benefit - it really all depends.
