Some ?'s on hookin up E6K

Do you need the factory igniter and relay for the coils? How do you hook up the oil sending unit/metering pump? Can you hook up the factory knock sensor or add another so you could have two? I'm a bit confused.

Exclamation e6k setup

Hey rx7superman! I don't have an e6k, but I've learned alot about it in "studying" between the e6k & e11. I've pretty much decided on the e11 for my convertible turbo conversion.

To help you with some of your questions, from what I've seen the e6k does not control an electric OMP. But an e11 will. You'll still need the coil ignitor & relays. And I don't really see the point of two knock sensors. I think you could just hook up the stock one.

Again, I don't have a Haltech yet. But I definitely plan to get one. Most likely e11, because of the OMP management, Halwin software (not yet, but eventually available on e6k too), & other things. I'm not as knowledgeable as others on Haltechs. Just trying to help.

Do you have an e6k already, or thinking about it?

I have the E6K and have all of it hooked up except for the omp, ignition coils/igniter/resistor and the knock sensor. I'm sort of stuck. So I'm trying to figure it out.

Arrow What year car???

If you have an S6 you can find the wiring diagram on my site. If you have an S4 or S5 you can find the information on Hitmans website.

I believe you have an S4 or S5 because I do not know of any relay for the igntion coils/ignitor setup.
