RAcepak IQ3 Data logger
Does anyone have experience with this? It seems like a good way to jeep the interior looking stock... well less modified than a dash full of gauges. while still providing all the necessary information to the driver like AFR's, temps and pressures. I'm considering this in place of a full set of Defi's
We've worked with them and they're a very handy little unit. I agree that they're much more clean than a bunch of gauges and more functional as well. Very easy to setup and work with to IMO. We're running a sale on the logger dash with GPS right now. Drop me a PM if interested.

You wouldn't happen to know off hand how the Haltech boost controller stacks up against the Greddy Profec-B ? I'm pretty **** about matching products and I already have alot of Greedy parts for various things on my 20B. Honestly if I could have variable boost control ( somewhat on the fly ie. scramble boost ) and a built in turbo timer that would be outstanding. I'm not really one for spending lots of money on numerous items when one will suffice.
The Haltech boost control function will work extremely well, and do a things the Profec won't; like boost by gear and now 1st gear slew control. Having said that, it's cumbersome to setup if you don't have experience with it. You'll need to calibrate the PID settings and many first timers have trouble with this. If you wish to use the Haltech closed loop boost control function I would plan on making a date with an experienced tuner and let them set it up for you.
The turbo timer function works. It does require and ECU input and output though, so just be aware that it can eat those up if you're planning on doing a lot of aux functions.
I'm like you I guess, like it all in one box if possible and not a lot of gizmos stacked on top of each other.

I was reading up online about the haltech turbo timer and honestly it doesn't not have alot of information out there. as much as I hate to do it I'll probably just use the Greedy I already have. At least until I figure out how to properly set up the function. As for the boost by gear. I'm thinking about running dual maps as a sort of boost to pass/ scramble boost type setup, and connect that to the button on my steering wheel (momo Mod 80 ) since I'm not using them anyway. I'm messing around with my map today, so feel free to email me with suggestions. Thanks for the help .
Chris
For info on the turbo timer function download the E8/11 manual and read pages 66 and 67.
