, i was hoping u could help me with some base map set up on my FC. any advice or knowlege would be greatly appreciated.
the scoup: the cars a 89 fc it has haltech E11v2 u may have seen the car on pinks its the speed machine car its alson listed now in fc classifieds on this site. the thing is i need to do a remap on the haltech being that it is the new engine some tuning is required. the problem is that the ecu is locked with a password by dave gibson...who i cant contact....so i think i must start over. the car is equiped with gt45 turbo, 550cc primarys,1600cc. secondaries. street port and turbosmart bov. im looking for something semi streetable tune...nothing crazy anyt help would be great thanks!!!

 

As ive said before, just download the map that most closely resembles your setup, you can download more than one and mix and match.

hi,

my car is sitting at theshop right now, i need to get it to driveable condition so i can drive it to steve kan to get it tuned in june. i tried the "E6X - Series 4/5 with 550/1600cc injectors and some mods." base map, except that i have 550/820cc injectors. i dont know how to tune this at all and neither does my shop. right now the car has some kind of hesitation at 2500 and at around 3000-3500 rpm, i hear detonation from my car. also my idle is jumping up and down from around 500-700. which base map would you recommend? or can you customize one for me?

I don't know why people are asking for maps when you can get one that is alittle close and modify it. No matter what map you get, your gonna have to alter it.

hmmm... ok mr dee de dee lol... If it was a wierd setup then i would understand but something basically stock i know he's got something that would work.

open 3' exhaust
2.5 bar map sensor (or whatever the e6x comes with)

If it's a stock setup then that's all I need to know. This project has been quite rough since most people seem to put this ecu in an fc and I'm using some stock fd sensors. No need to get like this. I'm just trying to eliminate some final issues and want to have a base map I can work with and if the main post has that base map already then a simple "here it is" reply would be nice. uhhg

i am having a hard time viewing the maps how can i see them

Can you use a fuel map from a e6x and use it on the e6k?

Using a 13b rew w/ 720/1680inj e6k

Need alot more information than that:

Injector setup
Engine setup and modifications
Fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator (stock or adjustable aftermarket)
Turbocharger
Any other ignition hardware or otherwise changes

(engine was just rebuilt and has 0 hours of run time.)

I also have 2 MSD 6Al's but they are not installed yet. I could be missing other modifications but i dont think it would matter anyway. please let me know if I missed to add any important info so I can go ahead and add it up.

The 850cc's all the way around is what's throwing me off,
