Haltech patch cable for haltech?
No, it's typically called a "DB9" or "serial cable, 9 pin".
It should be 5 pins top row and 4 rows bottom row - only two rows.
This cable is common.
I think we pay like $10 for a 3 meter extension.
Make sure one is female and the other side is male.
Or are you talking about the short length coming off the Haltech ECU?

nope you've got me on the right track. I dunno what kinda cable I came up with in my "box O stuff" but it has 3 rows. I took a good look at the connector on the E6k and it has 5 on top and 4 on bottom so thats all I need.
Thanks Ted!
BTW: I may be misdiagnosing a tuning problem for a clutch slipping problem. I put in a new ACT S/S 40% clutch when I got the rebuild done but I'm putting down 410 to the wheels at 16psi. I do smoke the clutch the only time I've tried a hard launch, no tire spin, just smoking clutch. at 11psi I'm only putting down 356 to the wheels, at 13 it's 378.
Now when I go hard from a roll at 11psi it runs good. but at 13 and 16 psi it pulls hard but feels like either the engine is kinda loosing power in little jerky spirts or I have a clutch trying to hold on but failing. Can a clutch act like that or when it slips will just slip and not try to hold on and off?
I just got the car back from RP where chris did the tuning so I know the car is tuned right. I am up in elevation about 1500 feet from Dallas though. Higher elevation would cause a rich condition right?
Thanks Ted!

You need to watch it with clutches, especially with resin-composite / organic discs.
Once you glaze the thing, it's pretty much dead.
I think you killed it the first time, and now needs to be replaced.
