I really want to run a TII in my FB. I would rather stay away from blow through carburation and I am seriously considering a haltech,
haltech seems like the best choice for me.
heres what I want to do. (for starters)
stockport tII with stock turbo, full 2.5in exhaust with one presilencer and a n1 muffler on the back.
Front mount intercooler (huge) with a vented BOV.
How hard is it to set these things up. I have never found a problem I couldnt overcome but I know very little about stand alones. I have a engine performance class soon at dunwoody so that should help.
any links or tips would be helpfull.

I am looking to make 300 hp, will I need to change the injectors? or any other stock component to do this?

Im running a basicly stock 90 TII motor in my 1st gen with an e6k. My only mods are a compressor upgrade a large FMIC 4 720s and an aftermarket FPR. You do not need the o2 sensor you can run the engine in open loop and and use a WB o2 to lean out your light load parts of the map for good gas milage. Wiring the haltech is easy if you have wired anything on your car before you can wire up the haltech. You will need to get a good base map to start the car but they are usually only good as a starting point you should get the car properly tuned before you start running the car hard. With the base map I was using I was running really rich at idle and crusie and lean under boost until I tuned it with a WB O2. As for the haltech boost control I would not worry about using anyboost control at first because if you are using the stock turbo with an open exhaust you are going to get more boost than you want because of the tiny wastegate. I was creeping to 15psi on the S5 turbo in 3rd gear! Had to do a lot of modifications to the stock wastgate to stop this brought the boost down to 9psi steady thru 4th. I am now using the haltech boost control and im still screwing with it to get it set right. Do a couple of searches on haltech install and WB O2 sensor and you will get a better idea of what you are getting into.
