Need help sorting out running issues
I'm new to the Haltech/turbo everything with a rotary. I've had my car for 16 years, but decided to do a streetport turbo project. I'm currently running a streetported 6port engine, with T2 center iron that's been ported as well. Running 850CC injectors from smartfire (stock denso style). Running Haltech coils with stock s4 turbo. We have been able to get the car started, but it sounds like its running on one rotor, but its definitely running on 2, as both housings get hot. When you try to raise the throttle, it seems to struggle, and just doesn't want to rev. We have double checked base timing, its good, and have locked the ignition timing to where it shows the timing mark with a light on the front mark. I'm gonna attach my current map, which is the one my son uses on his bridgeported turbo engine and his friends engine as well, each of theirs started and runs fine. Am I missing something? I just don't want to try to get it tuned and then have an issue and have to reschedule my time, plus travel time as well. Any help would be appreciated and any questions I'll try to answer.
You understand there is a coolant jacket and circulation right?
Have you checked the plugs?
Do you have access to a non contact thermometer or a thermocouple probe you can check the exhaust manifold next to the ports with?
Could be an injector or ignition problem, have you confirmed spark or checked for earthing of injector drivers and cycling of injector drivers if there is no spark on coil(s)?
