need help with radiator fans /e8

i'm attempting to control both my stock FD radiator fans (as one, one speed) with the e8 PWM output. i hooked the fans straight up to the battery just to make sure i had the wires right and i can't get them to come on...

from what i can see on the wiring diagram, the black ground wire is for the low speed, and the blue ground wire is for the high speed, but my question is what do i do with the power wires?

i want to to run both fans at high-speed to keep the system simple. i was assuming you just connect both power wires to +12v, and connect both ground wires to -, but apparently that's incorrect.

ground the green blue wire
and that will turn on both fans on medium, you dont want to run them on high at all times

yes it's green/black. i hooked up PWM2 to it and its working great.

that's a pretty simple way to do it. and hitting the A/C kicks the fans on high.
