Haltech my tach is readin only half of my real rpms??????

my tach is readin only half of my real rpms??????

after my e6k was programed with my 3 msd ignition boxes i noticed that my tack is only showin exactly half of my rpms, for example at 4000rpm it read 2000rpm, what should i do?
this is in my Tii

most autometer tachs have a switch in the back for the # of cylenders check that switch, also make sure that the tach is getting its signal from the correct coil....

Are you using the stock coils?
Are you using the output from the Haltech to trigger the tach?

which coil is it?

im usin stock coils with the msd
which coil is givin the right signal?
i dun think its the tach itself bc i didnt touch it.
how can i tell which wire is sendin the signal to the tach?

Oh, that explains it.
Set the Autometer tach to 4-cylinder instead of 8-cylinder.
