MAP sensor options? Other than GM?
Any other options out there besides GM's for use with a Haltech?
It was recently brought to my attention that a possible cause for a bouncy reading from the MAP sensor is due to it being a GM MAP sensor, as it's common with them.
Don't know if I fully believe this without further research, but just wanted to weigh out other options.

Call Julio and ask him about that same thing someone told you about. I think it's baloney myself, but ask Julio as the system he designs is built around that same GM 3bar MAP sensor and if there's a problem w/ the sensor, he'd know it.

B says baloney and I agree.
Intake pressures are never going to be constant. The air is not moving in a linear fashion. The MAP sensor is seeing the intake pulses. I'd be skeptical of a MAP sensor that showed a constant pressure at any load point.
