main settings e6k

I thought that for a rotary it would be on 2 cylinder and the ign/by setting would be 1 correct? All the maps i've seen are on 4 cylinder with ign/by on 2. Im trying to find why my tach is 2x what it should be but then after 4200 rpms it will go to the correct rpms. ex. haltech at 1500 and stock tach at 3k, then haltech at 4500 and stock at 4500. It also starts alot easier with the offset on 3 instead of 11.

It shouldn't matter if you kept the stock ignition wiring - i.e. tach signal from the trailing ignition.

You can run it either /1 or /2, but most people run it /2.

Dude, you've been having so many problems that you should take it to a qualified Haltech tuner.
I think you're screwing up some very basic set-up things.
