maybe i assumed too much when i assumed constant battery voltage? obviously it'll fluctuate, depending on what you've got turned on when, but maybe a battery voltage amp, and rpm map could be utilised then?

on the ecu earth pin there, which ground is that on an e8 harness, through which ground do i wire that into for the ecu? sorry to drag this up from the dead but i was searching trying to find the pin diagram for these coils thanks to anybody that can help me out.

i believe it was pin B that i omitted and just used the other 3 to make it all work.
i've since swapped out the leading coils (again) for the msd replacement coils. it was a noticable difference at idle and low speed/rpm stuff. i've even got the car idling smoothly at about 14:1!!! pretty damn good for a rotary.
