Innovate and Haltech wire up ???

Has anyone here installed an Innovate wideband LC-1 with a/f gauge with a Haltech E6X ?

I am currently in the process of doing this right now and on my Innovate I have 2 output wires (yellow and brown). The brown goes to the gauge and now I'm wondering where does the YELLOW one go to ? In the manual it says it can go to ECU, Data loggers, Gauge, etc.

Also on my Haltech wireing harness I wired up the ground and the 12V+. Now I'm wondering about the shielded wire for the O2 sensor ? To what do I connect that wire too ?

You don't connect the shielded 02 wire to anything. Unless of course, you want to run a narrow band 02 sensor for closed loop. But your wideband won't jive with those wires, they need to see 0-1v.

The LC-1's output wire, which should output a 0-5v analog signal should be hooked into the spare A/D. Off the top of my head I don't recall which wire it goes to as its been awhile since my haltech install - but search around here using WB02 and spare A/D as search terms, I found a thread with posts from FC3S.USD (IIRC) that detailed which wire the +0-5v goes to.

Spare analog to digital convertor.

Its all in the manual. The plug is short and near the ECU.

You *CAN* hook the WB02 up to the 02 sensor wires but you will only be able to see voltage, it will not perform closed loop since it needs 0-1v

You *CAN* also hook WB02 to the trim input. Again you'll use the function of this input but will be able to see the voltage coming from the wideband.

I recommend hooking it to the spare a/d so that if you want to use these other features for whatever reason, they're available. The spare a/d is just used to monitor various sensor with 0-5v outputs. Converted EGT, pressure sensors, wideband - whatever.

IIRC, you connect it to the red/black wire. But double check that. Like I said been years since I hooked up mine.

ALSO IIRC, there was an obscure E6K software with a "u" in the title which would display actual AFR's instead of voltages assuming your wideband calibration is 0-5v=10-20AFR.......I'm not sure if that exists for the E6X or not though.
