injector wiring colors?

Hey.

The Haltech manual says that the wire that needs to go to all four injectors is red. There is no red wire in my loom for the injectors. There is a lower-gauge red/teal wire. Is this the one? I am pretty sure it is, but I want to be sure.

Secondly, what's the best way to splice that wire (assuming it's the correct one) to all four injectors?

Thanks,
Victor

It's usually red & green, and thicker gauge than the others.

you have to splice 4 wires into it (solder them together) it can be tricky to do, what I usually do is strip them all then bundle the 4 around the one from the haltech loom, like the 5 side of a dice.

then take a strand of copper wire and twist it around the bundle like a twist tie, this is, of course, after tinning all the wires.

the copper holds them together while i solder the whole bunch together.... make sure you have the heat shrink upstream before you solder it too

good luck.
