How do you make a cold engine idle smooth?

With my Haltech, when I start my enigine, it idles "lumpy" until it warms up, then it runs smooth as a baby's bare ***!

Are there settings in the Haltech that will remedy this?

Yes, coolant temperature fuel correction map. You need to add aditional fuel when the engine is cold.

It is probably too rich when cold and a little too advanced. If you connect the idle speed control you can replicate what Mazda does for cold starting. It retards the timing and raises the rpm to keep it stable.
