High or Low imp injectors?

I was looking for opinions on which injectors o run, high or low impedance. I know the haltech can run them both, but I wasnt sure if one was better than the other.

Also, can I get a good idea of what setup to use? I notice alot of people running 550pri, and 1600sec, but ive also heard crossover problems. Is it because the the two major sizes of these? Wouldnt be smart to run all 720's instead? I figure im going to run a 60-1 when all is said and done. Which injector setup should I use?

i use 550 pris with 1600cc secondaries. I dont have any changeover problems at all. If it were me, id stick to peak and hold style high emp. injectors. 550's with 1600's is plenty of fuel for a 60-1 setup.

The only 1600's I can find are low imp. Know where I can get the others?

RC engineering doesent even sell high imp ones over 800cc.

Did you maybe mean low imp?

I might be mistaken, but I believe that all high impedence injectors are Saturation type, and all low impedence injectors are Peak and Hold.

Something about high impedence being a constant current to open and keep them open for the duration, and the low impedence being a spike to open them and a much lower voltage to keep them open.

I just called they guys at www.injector.com and he said hes never heard of hi-imp 1600cc injectors. I think im just going to get the low imp ones, the half as much, and they ARE peak and hold.

Most 1600cc injectors that i've tested are around 5 ohms. Not the regular low ~2.5 ohm injectors.
