High impedance and Low impedence injectors on E8 Q?

I've run this combination for 3 years on the e6k. But it may very well have an odd effect doing this on the e8.

I have high impedance primarys (1988 stock injectors) and low impedance secondarys (Some ford 1600's). The e6k did not seem to care but I have strange issues running this on the E8.

I have the fuel setup at 2amp peak .5amp hold.

Is there a way to run both style of injectors or should i get low impedence primarys.

Also would this explain transition problems and unexplained one day lean and one day ok conditions?

thanks for your help.

It is possible that the transition hesitation you might get is basically just the need for more fine tuning on the fuel maps, but it could be the difference in impedance and flow of the injectors, you could do a test to see how it behaves if you set 8A for the secondaries.

You may also want to give the primary hold mode a try.

I did not see anywhere that I could set the primarys differently then the secondarys.

Only one selection for injectors 1 to 7.

Also do you not want the low impedence injectors that are in the secondaries to be set to 2amp peak .5hold or are you just saying turn the whole setup to 8a.?

I will try primary hold as you suggest. I can't remember but is that the way the old e6k does it?

Thanks,

(I tried and another friend tried with no avail to get the staging to work as nice as my old e6k!)

According to Haltech USA I just need to use 3amp peak 1 amp hold. And I should all be good to go.
