help me with laptop(dont know much about computers)

ok, I have old school laptop and the battery is shot, it only used for monitoring the engine. I have to keep it on the power inverter to use it. Well Im tire of setting up everything everytime I start the car. Is there a way I can set it up to go stright to the haltech when the turn the computer on? I dont want to go to the desktop or anything. Cut it on and bam haltech
i dont think it has a hard disk though, can this still be done?

Are you running the software from a floppy? It must have a hard drive if it's got Windows on it.

I'm assuming that it's Windows 95. Just edit your autoexec.bat to execute the haltech software instead of starting windows.
