I had a quick question about the laptop interface to the haltech e6x i know it's a 9 pin serial connetor and i was wondering if a USB to serial covert works with the haltech, i know they work with some things and not with others

From what has been documented here and on the haltech board, it appears that the USB addapters are giving more trouble than their worth, i would just try to find a P3 700mhz or older laptop, with a serial connector, that will give you better results.
