haltech student needs help

hi guys so a i wired up my car, got it started BUT not running and i diagnosing the problems and your hlp will be appreciated.

this is the issue first the car does not idle... and it sounds link i have a vacuum leak or its missing. BUT when i take off the map sensor line and plug it it sound normal fine but still does not idle.

so any ideas.

when i first startedit up it ran and idled.......a bit hight but iidle none the less , so something changed.

I need something decent to zero in the timing

Check your TPS, see if it changes when you apply throttle.
Also, go to the main setup menu and see if the post start enrichment setting is on.

update:- it idles with the MAP sensor NOT connected and dies as soon as I connect it.

Sounds like you need to add fuel to the map. Use the opening value at 0 pressure as a starting point for your idle areas.

I was just trouble shoot and i removed the vac line by accident and it suddenly idled so pure fluke you can say

that just means the sensor read atmospheric and the correspnding part of the map it jumped to added fuel.
Get it tuned
