If you can swing it, take a hard look at the E8.
Full sequential fuel injection is nice!

We've done several E6X installs on FCs and and an FB running a TII swap. We haven't encountered any of the trigger issues others have. Proper install and shielding is key. I agree with reted, an E8 would be tops on my list if the E11 isn't an option. However, don't be scared away from a good deal on an X.

The E6X is a great system, and when properly installed workes wonderfuly. The K is hard to find and for the price they are still being had its worth the effort to just buy the X at the new price structure, its coming with an internal 2.5 bar/22psi map sensor and the price for a flying lead kit with all sensors im selling them for 1150 shipped. PM me if you are interested.

I agree with C. Ludwig on the E8, it trully is a great option, i can hook you up if you need one.

Mainly the dual mapping, wastegate maps, windows software instead of dos, now the X is coming with an internal 2.5bar/22psi map sensor, a few improvements in processing and comm speed, closed loop boost control, boost cut, the hability to use more map sensors, mainly the 4 and 5 bar for even higher boost levels.

The harnesses have a few differently placed wires, even though the connector is the same, and thats basically it.

Yes, it is, even though we've had to go through a new learning curve to get to know it, but yes, after all is said and done, the X does the job wonderfully.
