Haltech and OBD diagnostic tools

There is plenty of scanners and tools for connecting to OBDII compliant vehicles, allowing to show live data and/or datalog them.

Is there a way to make E11V2 (or maybe even E6X) work with them?

E11V2 does list CAN bus support, which i suppose is one of the OBD standards.

Lets say we want to connect E11V2 to HKS CAMP2...

The Haltech CAN protocol is proprietary. I doubt it's compatible with any of the commercially available scanners.

Dunno. The E6 and F10 are not CAN capable which should obviously make a potential buyer leery. Maybe Haltech has provided the protocol or they've cracked it? It's also possible it's not a CAN interface but simply using the serial data stream. If it is serial that would explain compatibility with the E6 and F10.

Dusan,

Have confirmation from Haltech that DashDAQ will not work with E6X. DashDAQ has current support for CAN based Haltech ECU's.

For adding sensors we work with Innovate Motorsports and Zeitronix to bring senors in at one spot.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have anymore questions.

Regards,
