haltech E8 ignition channel not working
My E8 is running Halwin 1.71, I have just relized that Ign 4 is not working, wiring is good, I am checking direct of the haltech harness, output doesn't work even when setup as a PWM with PWM test on/off. It is permanently grounded at the haltech (not at the harness).
Truth be told I don't know if it ever worked, previously I ran the car using a stock FC trail coil and didn't use IGN 4.
Any ideas?
Is this a known haltech problem with a specific firmware?
send it back to haltech for repair?
I should add, I took the board out of the case and looked at it top and bottom carefully under a magnifying glass and don't see anything physically wrong with any of the components...

ok, I played with it for a while including seting it to piston, and changed the ign settings all around and back and it randomly started working.
Could the case be grounding to the board on IGN 4?
That would be pretty random, but physically thats the only thing thats changed with the unit. That is to say that its not currently bolted into the bracket I made so it couldn't be grounding to the case.
