Haltech E6K trim module need help!

I was wondering does a trim module for a Haltech E8-E11 ECU work on a Haltech E6k? As I would like to have it to adjust settings without the laptop open and can be helpful as well.

Thanks

Adam

i am in oz .. so after shipping and time delays it may be easier for you to get the e8 version

the e6 uses the old narva style 3 pin keyed connector and the e11 uses something more modern
( recalls there is a universal version of the e6 connector that you can use the solder iron on to make it fit the correct keyways )

it is a 3 wire setup so you have to get them around the right way in a cut shut else the scale will run backwards
( lean will be rich till you swap the wires back the other way )

if i find the module i can ohm them out and find which wire is which

The trim box is simply a variable resistor. The connector on all models has signal ground, analog input, and 5v. You can use pretty much any pot. I like the AEM 12 position switch since it has detents to hold its adjustment.
