first time tuning, timing guideline?
Hi guys, this is my first time tuning an RX7 with a standalone and I need to find some info on the timing portion of the tuning. I dont need anything super agressive, as i would like to tune the car for 93 octane. I have a nice base map that I have started tuning with. I am using an Innovate Motorsports wideband and a greddy EGT gauge, combined with my Haltech data page as my tuning method. Street tuning so that i can get real life tuning, not simulated street on a dyno. I would like to compare my timing portion of the map to someone elses to see if I am in the ballpark. BDC set up this map for me, but I am very paranoid. I have 2 years and 15k into this project, and cannot afford to pop an engine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks you,
Joe

Can you describe the slope?
I'd be most interested in the 4k, 5k, 6k, and 7k pages.
High vacuum -> 0
0 -> max boost
How much boost are you running?
Also, is your ignition set to -5 at idle and tell us if your numbers are compensated for this?
