Elite wiring question, signal ground wire

Hello all

I'm in the process of wiring my 93 FD and am a little confused on the crank & cam wiring (26 pin connector) using the stock sensors. According to the wire diagram I only need to use the + and - wires out of the 4 core shielded crank & cam wires & I know how to wire those. Part of the 4 core is a blue wire (pin 15) that is a signal ground but is not used. However it also shows a black/white signal ground (also pin 15) that leads to both of the 4 core wires. Does this black/white wire somehow get wired in to the shielded wires? If so where do I hook it up to ?

Thanks for you help

Thanks for your help.

Late reply - but if you're using the Haltech supplied harness, the black/white signal ground wire should be already bonded to the shield of the 4 wire cable. You don't need to do anything else besides wire the + and - wire of the cable to your plug.

More questions

Thanks for the reply on the signal ground. I do have a couple more questions though. To get my dash gauges to work properly is there a guide in what needs hooked up and where? I believe I'll need to make a trans harness that goes to the x14 connector I think. Also wiring up the fuel pump I assume I can use the stock relay. Since stick system uses the 2 speed system is it possible to keep that with a standalone ecu or do i wire up to the one near the shock tower? Thanks

Im unsure what you mean by a stick system, but I wired mine up to the relay on the shock tower and that works fine.

I ment to type stock fuel system, not stick It sounds like most people use that relay by the shock tower so thats what I'll do and not worry about the 2 speed system.
