elite 1500 PNP fd

so I'm making the switch to the elite 1500 PNP, gonna also switch over to sakebomb coils with direct fire. anyone else do anything similar and have any tips?
going to be running single turbo. fd will still use ps, ac, and idle air control.
as far as boost I would like to run a 3 bar map sensor, should I buy the haltech gm one?
and the intake sensor it comes with, does screw right into bottom of UIM? or are u guys relocating to greddy elbow? thank u for ur time!

LMS-EFI has the M12x1.5 Fast Acting Air Intake Sensor to drop into the UIM. The Greddy Elbow should be 1/8" NPT which is what the sensor you have is. That would be fine.

I would suggest the AEM 3.5 Bar 1/8" NPT Stainless Steel MAP sensor.

If you need help with tuning and setup, hit me up.

is the metric one as fast as the one that comes in package? it looked different in pictures.
my greddy elbow doesn't have the bung for IAT so I would have to drill and tap.
what about the coils in direct fire? how are u guys wiring up the extra signal wire?
and thanx for the response!

I would say they are comparable speeds with the plastic encased open element of your 1/8" NPT one just a little bit faster. The LMS-EFI is hands down more robust though.

Wiring the Coils in Direct Fire has been covered on here. Search for that.

You can use the gym 3 bar Map sensor if you like, it's what most people use and the Haltech already has a calibration file for it.

Just wanted to make a correction from before, I meant M10x1.25 for the Intake Air Temperature Sensor.

In as harsh of an environment as this engine bay, Stainless MAP is the way to go.

Sure, you can but it's certainly not a necessity. Where most people have them mounted they're far enough away from any heat source and not necessarily prone to failure as long as you didn't buy some Chinese garbage. I'd stick with GM unless you need more than a 3 bar sensor.

Yeah for some reason it’s really hard to find. It’s very useful.
