E8 coil setup.

can anyone give me some insight as to what wires go to the Trailing coil with the E8?

E8 Using Stock Ignition System:

Wiring:
Ignition Output 1 (light green) to Leading Coils (Pink)
Ignition Output 2 (white/black) to Trailing Coils (Pink)
Ignition Output 3 (green/black) to Ignition Toggle (white)

Software Setup:
Spark Type – Distributor
Charge Time – 4.5ms
Spark Edge – Falling

E8 Using Aftermarket Ignition Coils with Wasted spark:

Wiring:
Ignition Output 1 (light green) to Leading Coils (both leading coils)
Ignition Output 2 not used
Ignition Output 3 (blue) to Trailing 1 Ignition Coil (front rotor)
Ignition Output 4 (blue/yellow) to Trailing 2 Ignition Coil (rear rotor)

Software Setup:
Spark Type – Direct Fire
Charge Time – 4.5ms (dependant on ignition coils used)
Spark Edge – Falling (dependant on ignition module used)

E8 Using Aftermarket Ignition Coils with Direct Fire:

Wiring:
Ignition Output 1 (light green) to Leading 1 Ignition Coil (front rotor)
Ignition Output 2 (white/black) to Leading 2 Ignition Coil (rear rotor)
Ignition Output 3 (blue) to Trailing 1 Ignition Coil (front rotor)
Ignition Output 4 (blue/yellow) to Trailing 2 Ignition Coil (rear rotor)

Software Setup:
Spark Type – Direct Fire
Charge Time – 4.5ms (dependant on ignition coils used)
Spark Edge – Falling (dependant on ignition module used)

^ i poked around for hours and hours until i realised that was like the second to last page in the manual.

if i can't learn the hard way, i just won't learn at all
