E6X LS1 Coil RPM Signal Question

I have a 10th Ann that I have recently converted to an E6X with MSD Multispark LS1 coil primaries, and OEM LS1 coils for secondary ignition...

My issue is that my stock tach only read approx 1/2 the rpm readings of the haltech. I am using the T1 coil signal from the Haltech, which is spliced into RPM wire from the OEM secondary coil harness.

You guys running LS1 coils, are you using the stock tach? If so, how are you getting an 'accurate' signal? Are you taking the signal off the primary coils?

All of my wiring and Haltech settings are correct.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Use the tach output wire on the haltech, and connect it to the loose spade (bullet? its been a while) terminal near the trailing coil wiring. That feeds the tach a clean signal from ECU.

This is how I run it on my current ECU which uses seperate coils wired similar to an Ls1 type setup.

Thanks for the response. I will give that a try over the weekend.

The Aux. Out wire, set to tacho, with a 12V pull up is how its configured. This setting also applies to E8/E11/Sport 1000/2000.
