What is the difference between e6k and one with the -8?

 

E6K is no longer made. It has the same options as the E6X however, and the X's info can be found here:

The E8 basically has better resolution and some nice gee whiz features like closed loop boost control, soft cut rev limiter, better datalogging, load v rpm programmable PWM output, etc. The E8 is just a more feature packed solution while the E6K and E6X are very capable, solid performing units.

What I am asking is that I have seen some Haltech box's with just E6K while mine has E6k-8. Why does mine have the -8?

 

Nothing really, just the extra internal drivers set to be able to run 8 low imp. injectors.
