e11- car will die sometimes

My e11 will shut off for no reason. I was driving , car quit and it wouldn't
communicate w/laptop. I took the neg off battery, resetting computer
and it fires right up. I worry this could happen at a bad time and cause
a wreck.

Is yours a E11V1?
As I recall that ECU had some kind of overheating issue that could cause it to shut down...

where is the ecu? if its under the carpet its prolly overheating. i had the same problem with an e11v2, letting the ecu dangle from the dash seemed to work the best.

Damn, did someone miss all the news on the overheating issues with the E11?
Try and contact Haltech AUS on this problem directly.
