Hello All,

Back from the dead. The links work, i am 100% sure of it. The website is not up i have not been able to find the time or pay someone to do it for me, but the links ARE WORKING!

I know its a pain when i cant edit the original thread, but i can guarantee the files are there and the links do work.

Also. I wrote another thread somewhere where i explained that these days unfortunately i cannot be all the time answering posts on the forums, but the other side of the coin is that i also charge for tech support. I have to stress the fact that the tech support i provide is the absolute best and most comprehensive you're going to get anywhere no questions asked. That is why i charge for it.

I have 3 levels of paid tech support and they are:

Level 1, US$100 bucks, this is email and instant messenger support only, to answer random questions and is per applications specific.

Level 2, US$200 bucks, this is email, IM and phone (or skype) and we can also do remote session where i can take control over your laptop connected to the car via internet and i can help you with the tune as well as troubleshoot problems. This option includes me providing a basemap for you if yours is too far off.

Level 3, US$300, this option includes all the support the other 2 have + base map + seminar style training where we can go over the entire system, i can teach you the ins and outs of the software and we can do a remote session where we go over everything. Think of this as attending a training seminar but without the travel costs.

If anybody would like to schedule a session please DONT USE the forum's messaging system email me directly with your request and needs and we'll go from there. This also can be for not just current generation Haltechs but legacy products too, Halwin/HalwinX, E8/E11, E6X/K/F10/9, and DOS based systems.

Peace!

Im going to jump out on a limb here and say that the current iteration of base maps for the rotaries contained within the Mazda folder on ECU Manager are quite good and run pretty decent on stock engines. At least to get you going and on stock injector combinations.
You also have to remember, Haltech does NOT support the older DOS based systems anymore, not even if you pay them. It is unfortunate, but neither does Microsoft, they just killed WinXP and that product is 13 years old. About the same age or less than an E6K.
Imagine if you called them to get support for Windows 98? Which is actually younger than an F9.

Gents, i am going to repost this again, because a lot of people are regularly requesting maps, the maps uploaded here are now VERY VERY old, i dont recommend using them anymore. There are current base maps in ECU Manager that work quite well for stock setups, and will be certainly better than using these old ones here. Having said that i will be taking them down.

So, a few things to keep in mind, when running the different variations of 2nd gen coil combinations the main thing to keep in mind that the ignition configuration needs to be correctly set for the type of setup you have, these are:

Distributor mode for Stock 2nd gen coils
Wasted spark mode for 3rd gen (leading wasted)
Direct fire mode for individual coils (LS1 coils, CDI etc.)

Each type of setup is also wired specifically so watch out! The diagrams attached in this section explain that correctly.

Yeah, Haltech includes base maps in their software now so no point in this thread anymore.

Thread's dead baby. Thead's dead.

Use a haltech base map and take your car to a tuner before you blow up your engine.

HALTECH Platinum 1000 FD

I just retired (more free time) and looking to work on maps with my current setup. Is the haltech platinum sport 1000 ecu still able to get software downloads?

Hello Eveyrbody! ADMINS I am formally requesting this thread be deleted! This is no longer relevant, all maps on here are worthless and the info is no longer even available.
I do appreciate the fact that the thread is still up. But its time to move on! I plan on doing a Youtube Video series that deals with sorting out a tune even if you dont have a base map.
Its time to LEVEL UP!
Thanks everyone for all the years of support!!
Im still here, but of course, im not a paying vendor so i cannot post links to my business. But Tuning Technology is still around.

Thanks!

NOPE! Been discontinued for a long time.
Elites are "almost" on their way out too, but will still be available for a while longer. Nexus S and R series are the way to go.

Claudio I would very interested in any other relevant threads you may have posted in or about concerning Haltech 1500 ecu, and especially your youtube videos.
