Coils fire with key switch? E6K

just put in my engine and checking timing i noticed that the coils ignite when the key is switched to the run position? is this normal? what did i do wrong?

also, i couldn't get it to start, I'm thinking it to low fuel MS. went from 550 to 440 cc inj. how much fuel pressure or how many MS should I add to compensate for this change?
using same map as before, changes are 4-port HB with a semi-pp, old was a 6-port hb.

Im pretty sure thats normal. The Ignition should get power as soon as you turn the key to ON. Same with anything else.

I have a sprint re and I turn the key the plugs always fire once.

the old e6 used on the cbr600 bike engine in a previous FSAE chassis used to blow up plenums doing the same thing. They pulse the outputs on power up.
