Can someone explain PWM wiring

To start I have and E6X, the manual, diagrams and the ones you can download from haltech. I am verifying the wire-job (not the best) on an FC that I just bought before I attempt to turn the engine over

To my understanding the PWM output is just a signal (or ground) that can be used to close a relay for whatever device I'm trying to use. Is that correct? It doesn't look like that on the diagram, but I can't see any other way it can work.

Thanks,
mike

The PWM outputs do close to ground. They can carry a small amount of current, enough to work directly on the BAC valve and boost control solenoids for example. For things like fans and fuel pumps, you need to use a relay.
