Original Tial 38mm, about 10 years old (bought them at the same time), the one that looks clean is upside down. The good news is that Tial redesign the valves, and discarded the two piece design a while ago (not sure how long ago); whats even better is that Tial is replacing the valves for FREE, talk about standing behind their products!!

Made a quick 2 gear pull last week, and when stopped at a red light, I could hear a Harley motorcycle rumble, I honestly thought there was a Harley couple of cars in front me; till the light turned green (both wastegates are open to atmosphere).

A quick inspection revealed one wastegate with the "plate" detached from the stem; an in depth inspection revealed the second wastegate with the same problem (although I couldn't hear it having isues) I was having an inconsistent boost curve, specially when the weather was warm/hot.
